The bird's beak was packed with chompers. The shoulder blades were teeny tiny and the bone that attaches to it had an unusual shape. It just doesn't look like it could really rotate in the same way a normal bird can. Dan named it Pellegornus Sanders eye in honor of Al Sanders the unknowing keeper of this truly massive discovery.
