The Importance of Honesty
The writer of John Thane's is a friend of both you and me. And I've known him since the late 80s. He was becoming quasi famous for his pieces,. The very wild pieces in the New York press, putting hair brushes in his butt. But he felt that he at times now does not take certain stories because of he didn't use the term politically correct. We are missing a kind of fearlessness in the culture. We're missing the taboo. Everything seems to be so weighted down by a kind of corporate rule book.
