How detailed does that mechanism need to be? Because you also gave a brief mechanism for lung cancer there as well in the sense of you breathing this smoke we know it has all sorts of chemicals in it and it goes into the lungs. And is that enough of a mechanism in general? How detailed do you think a mechanism needs to be? Well I think the answer to that is that it's a sort of a bit of a balance. If the statistics are very strong which they are in the case of smoking and lung cancer then provided you have a reasonably plausible sketch or mechanism that's enough.
