The only thing you could know is if you could isolate the people with the exact same conditions, let's say the people have four com morbidities or whatever. If you knew that a shot had a strong chance of minimizing your illness and maximizing your survivability, but had no impact on transmission, would you say it was useful? 30 % sat its useless.
