Ovaro Opragon - The Sonoran Revolutionary Soldier
Ovaro Opragon was a young self-made man on the make when Francisco Medeiros' revolution broke out at the end of 1910. He later attributed his failure to join Medeiros’ revolution as a kind of cowardice, but probably this is a convenient story. In 1911, he was elected a mayor and then said to make up for sitting out the initial revolution; he joined the Sonoran state militia to fight Orozco's rebellion. But just a few months later come the 10 tragic days. And Ovaro O Pragon found himself among those calling for his state to reject Ovaro.
