I'm the Community, It's Me
In order to understand where hip hop going, I have to ask myself, where am I going? How am I doing? And Tupac said something very similar in an interview. He said, I'm the community, it's me. So you don't have to ask how they are doing over there. How are we doing? Which is why a lot of times when I talk about society's ills,. things that I do not create, things that I am not necessarily supporting or feeding into, but that are happening, I will say, we're doing X, Y, Z.
