The hour had come. It was time to finally go home. So he led the guard first, which is fine. But it's not his fault. That's how everybody is here. People don't talk to each other. They had a car waiting outside for him. I think that part was too much. You may as well have laid out a red carpet for him too. Unless, of course, it was all for sure. Now Derek was gone. The money had arrived. He'd taken this superhero persona to the max. He'd been down and now he was picking up. "I swear we were the same size before, but now Carl seemed taller"
