Gramsci's Prison Notes on the Cultural Revolution

Gramsci's prison notebooks in particular link that Leninist style thought to understanding that there has to be a cultural revolution to make it work. The only communist revolution that had worked, all these years after Marx had predicted its inevitability, was the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia and under Lenin. And so Gramsci figured that something must be going on that's right there. He said that basically these countries had too strong of culture.
