The Lord Has Got Your Back

Anxiety is a symptom of something we are afraid of. Instead of being completely fixated on the anxiety or the thing that's making me anxious, I'm going to set the Lord in front of me. The rod and the staff, they comfort me. Jesus isn't some meek and mild, one-dimensional photograph on the wall. He is a shepherd who is determined to protect you. This doesn't mean I'm minimizing what is happening. It just means I'm choosing to set Jesus in my view. When Goliath is taunting David, he says, everybody here is bigger than them,. Yes, you're bigger than him but you're smaller than him.
