The Importance of Compassion Focus Therapy
Compassion is rooted in this very ancient, evolved motive to be caring. Compassion also brings what we refer to as these new brain competencies. We have the ability to think and imagine and mentalize and empathize. And then of course that leads to what we call compassion, which essentially has two components mark. One is that you notice in your sensitive to suffering and distress. The second thing is that you take wise action,. so you find ways to try to alleviate or be with that distress whether it's in somebody else or whether it's yourself.
