How Can You Afford Not to Do That?

There is a lot of value in having a wide variety of experiences, absolutely. i remember once being challenged by a colleague of mine saying, why are you doing that? And i turned round en i said, how can i afford not to do that? I said, because i'm not thinking of to day. I'm thinking of to morrow. It's this classic herbert simon, bounded rationality, isn't it? You've got to have the mental stamina to get beyond that and see through to the other side.
