Hbo's parent company, warner media, merged with discovery. The cable channel will be sticking around, but the streaming service, hbo max, will have to prepare our good byes. A sort of reality tv centric things that are meant to appeal to quoton middle america. That compared to something like a prestige drama is just way cheaper to produceSomething like a game of thrones that, you know, tho the production costs are in the tens of millions of dollars for a single season.
