The Importance of Patient Experience in a Study
The best study teams try and put themselves in the shoes of their participants. They should ask themselves, if that was me, would I take part? You know, would this be a study that would give me enough benefit for me to take part? And would I want to be using that digital experience that I'm trying to force upon someone? What we always asked is, you know, who do we compare ourselves to? And the answer that I often give is that we wanted to be compared to people like TikTok or Instagram or Netflix. Our job is to engage people well enough in a study to take a bit of time away from those wonderful digital experiences that people have.
