An athlete's heart is a muscle. The more you use that muscle, the greater the muscle tissue will grow and therefore it becomes efficient. One single contraction of an athlete's heart would be equivalent to maybe three or four contractions of somebody who doesn't exercise. But then how is that different to a patient who's just got high blood pressure for decades? All right. Let's get there. Well, I don't think we should address it now. We're talking about athletes here. So it's a bit like if you're staying on the athletes, if you look at, say, an athlete's swimmer or a runner, they're probably each one of those strides or strokes
