The Politics of Education
The government's approach to education started out as one thing and then became another. From 2010 to 2014, Michael Gove was in charge of educational reform and revolution. Once he went, education policy sort of stagnated in the problems of schools festered. And I had a feeling really that once the great Gavin Williamson became education secretary, you could argue we kind of knew education wasn't a priority anymore.
