The Counter Narrative to the 1619 Project
Before George Floyd's murder, there was the 1619 project that came out in the New York Times. No major historian accepts it as an accurate perception of American history. Coleman: If you're trying to develop a counter narrative, what is a counter narrative to 1619? Neil: I don't know to what extent that's had an effect, but I've certainly played my part and tried to push back against that narrative.
