The consensus was made between doves and hawks by accepting a hike today, but also more or less explicitly accepting a pulse communicated in the statement. I think he's trying to kick it over to the supervisors, right? He was talking about Barr and not wanting to interfere and that it's in his hands. But as you pointed out, completely sidestepping the issue of the Fed, what impact Fed policy is having? And so I don't it doesn't seem like they're fully in tune to what's going on.
