i think the term itself is a contradiction in terms, because what makes something a biological family is that you didn't choose it. What's implied is we're kind of just saying, i found people i like better, or who i think are better, or treat me better, or whatever. But to suggest thatt by virtue of having chosen a relationship, it's going to go better than the relationships that you didn’t choose, is just to misunderstand human nature.
