Could a CBDC Take Over the Central Bank Digital Currency

A CBDC could certainly eat up a significant portion of M0 and M1 that already circulates. I still have it as a big question mark is what if any maybe just these stable coins might might actually fulfill that role themselves. Until you just have central bank reserves or CBDC in that case the distribution could still be essentially outsourced to private institutions so primarily banks. It's coming back to a hundred percent reserve system rather than having the central bank with you running the entire infrastructure which would probably not be a good idea.
