Aspects of the Game, Yeah?
With fate games, you set down to build your character. The first thing you do is you build their aspects. They can be things that are about your character. So for my aspect, I might say something like I'm playing the fifth best swordsman in all of the kingdom. It's a short phrase that describes something important. General and aspect, you spend a fate point to invoke that aspect. And this gives you either a re-roll or plus two to your role that you've already made. But one cool thing about aspects is you have a certain number of fate points, but you spend those and you could run out.
