Leadership should ask the most frontline folks how they actually do their work. Work is done and encourage them not just to say what they think might be the desired answer, but really in as much gritty detail as possible. That's such a cool component of that that I'm not sure we've called out before. And that redesign made an enormous difference to the understanding of the company and the oil industry of incident causation.
