The Popularity of the F-150 Lightning
Ford is expanding the size of their factory that builds the F-150 lightning to 150,000 units annually. GM has been building the electric version of the Silverado since the spring. Ford is feeling some pressure to protect the turf that it has built by being one of the first ones out there with its electric pickup trucks.
