The Shape of Mo
Dogen came to realize it clearly, this shape as mountains rivers the great wide earth, the sun, the moon and the stars. Standing up, sitting down, laughing, crying. Each gesture, all of it, to realize mo is to become it, to become what you are. It seems so obvious, so near and so inscrutable. Le Von wrote that just because it's so clear, it takes us longer to realize.
