The Importance of Labor in 1945

Atley was able to combine these two things of a reassuring figure and aligning with the zeitgeist. I think that kind of sweet spot is when labor seems to win. Atley was able, becoming a party that wasn't feared in anything like the same way as the Liberal Party. He took those anti-tory voters who were still voting, liberal, and make them labor voters. And we're back to that discussion now.
