The Importance of Backstory
There's a great deal of evidence of archaeological ruins on that planet wouldn't that be an easy way to disclose the fact that we're not alone in our cosmos there's a ancient alien civilization long dead on Mars? It depends what the backstory to that is. If the backstory takes us to a dark or uncomfortable place you know yeah there was this civilization and then they experimented with these biological robots that they really just created and then they died out and the robots live on. There are maybe voices of caution who who will say yeah wait a minute we might not want to go down that road Nick.
