The Conservative Movement's Ideological Framework

Conservatives genuinely believe that the legal system is unfair, not to minorities or the poor, but to corporations. Corporations are full of guys in boardrooms who are looking at the books and they're just like, God damn, this is too much. Next week, we are talking about qualified immunity, the doctrine that protects police officers and other government officials from civil liability when they are sued by people who they smack in the head with batons.
