Wind Power Is Crucial to Hitting the Net Zero Target
Net zero is a target to stop adding to the total amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. And as oliver says, wind power is crucial to hitting that target. So how much of the world's energy is provided by wind power to day? At the end of 20 just over six % of the world’s energy was wind generation. The rough estimation is this is mitigating around one point two billion tons of carbon emissiens each year. Just six percent covers a whole continent's omissions. That's crazy.
