The Most Surprising Use Case for People Mapping From Trains
It's trained more on street scenes than not, but it works in many strange scenarios where you think that it wouldn't. So for example, there's a community of people mapping from trains. They'll ask the driver if they can put an action camera or a phone in the front window of the train and the map train routes. On hiking trails or like if you're in the middle of a lake or a river, the segmentation gets confused sometimes. But luckily we don't find too many traffic signs in themiddle of a river. And I can see mapping certain train rides around the world who would be interesting.
