I did not expect introspect to swell into the massive project that it became. It's the same kind of bottom up thing where I would have lots of conversations with people in my DMs, for example and they would ask me for simple life advice and stuff. And I just have a lot of practice. When I was a teenager, I used to read a lot of like advice columns and magazines and stuff. But routinely, I would get people telling me, oh, we chatted six months ago and that chat changed my life a little bit and I've been doing better. The most heroic thing you can do is not hate yourself.
