In 1994, there was a big conversation in parenting and society wide about that kind of punishment. And as far as that statistic about wanting those, the whipping and harsher sentences, this is 1994. But I think more than anything, as we've been saying at the heart of it is evidence that we have much greater appetite for punitive measures of this kind than I think we want to admit to our claims.
