How to Acknowledge Your True Motivations
Acceptance is the doorway to emotional intelligence. It reveals what is really happening in our minds at any moment. If you are experiencing strong emotion, notice the mind's tendency to create fictions around it. Use mental notes and punctuate your day with labels about whatever you are thinking. There is one more way which is to use a formal meditation slash mindfulness practice that I might cover in some future podcast.
