Hannah talks with michel elman, a body positive activist and author. She recently announced that her second book, the joy of being selfish, will be coming out in february next year. In recent years, michel has become more open on line with talking about her experiences dating. We talk about what michel calls empowered dating,. how it changed the way she felt about dating... And we go on a tangent about neuro linguistic programming and pick up artists.

In this episode, Hannah is joined by Michelle Elman, who is a life coach and author. Michelle discusses her new book The Joy of Being Selfish, and boundaries - setting them, communicating them and respecting them. She and Hannah talk about “empowered dating”, and the assumption that meeting someone IRL is better than through an dating app. Finally, Hannah and Michelle discuss the TV show Normal People, and how virginity is a scam.

Her TedX talk "Have You Hated Your Body Enough Today?" has been viewed over 50,000 times and her debut book "Am I Ugly?" was released in 2018. She has also written for a number of reputable publications including Huffington Post, Grazia, Metro, MTV and Stylist. In 2020, she was named as one of The Sun's 50 most inspirational women in the UK. She recently launched her life coaching podcast "In All Honesty" and her new book "The Joy Of Being Selfish" is being published in 2021.
