Why the FDIC Never Stepped in During the Great Depression
In the Great Depression, over 1000 banks failed and the government never stepped in. But here I feel like they almost just stepped in because of how much innovation power for the country is sitting behind Silicon Valley bank deposits. If Bank of America or JP Morgan Chase is allowed to fail, that's the end of the United States as we know it.
