Estrogen sulfate is an indicator of your long term stores of estrogen. It can get easily converted back into a strong through the sulfate enzymes. Progesterone is also very good biomarker for females, progesterone to total estrogens should be at least 200 to one. For males, it looks like basically you can kind of derive a such a ratio as well, androgen to estrogen ratio.
