Growing up in a family of storytellers must have profoundly impacted your writing. So could you share a particular memory or influence from your family that stems out in shaping your creative path? I'm the youngest of four kids. And so when my siblings were practicing reading, my mom would say go read to Susie. That was very formative for me because I realized that sharing a story is sharing love. It's, it's an act of love.
