How to Overspend on Audiences

YouTube is overspending on audiences with too much what they call EVC and not a click. If someone watches an ad for longer than five seconds and then converts within the view engaged conversion window, which defaults to three days, Google counts it as a conversion. So even by virtue of skipping the ad at six seconds, technically means that they've seen the ad now. It's kind of like the news segments where it's like, this could be killing you right now at 10. But I do really have two hours to live. Yeah, 10 o'clock. I need to be back at 10. Don't go anywhere."
