Gene Therapy Is Affecting Gene Expression Levels

There is regulation in every gene. One gene might be mutated, but if for example there is another gene that has a function very, very similar to the gene that is mutated, perhaps it can take over. This is usually understood through RNA sequencing, not DNA sequencing. We also know that the disease is not only that the gene might be affected, but also the expression levels of the gene may be affected.
