Sleep Latency in a Child With Narcolepsy
The MSLT is a very blunt test. It's wrong about 30% of the time, which is not great for a test. The real diagnosis comes with talking to the patient and getting a history in a story. We're looking for individuals in terms of narcolepsy who have a average sleep latency of eight minutes or less.
