Using a Bayesian Classifier to Classify Emails
Naive Bayesian classifiers can be used for things like predictive modeling, spam filters, or classifying documents. Naive Bayes is called naive because we don't assume there's a relationship between the terms. Think of a Gaussian distribution really as a bell curve of possibilities for a single term such as weight or height.
