I thought that that scene where Damon chokes at Renira, which was, I'm sure controversial, but also like pretty alive. It felt like a little bit more. The other thing that is not book canon is this song of ice and fire vision that Viseras is passed down to Renira in the first episode. That's another thing that's been a constant in the postmortem interviews with Ryan Contell. Something that makes this version of Rainira emotionally alive and surprising and urgent in the present.
