i b m has been pursuing quantum technology for quite some time, since the eighties. There were a lot of veryo fundamental pioneers in quanum information science already at i b m. And then along the line, i b m decided to a selecta cubit modality of choice, which were super conducting cubits. I'm really privileged to work with that world class people that are truly founders of the field. It was really my choiceof where i wanted to go. That's a big job, but very exciting.
