Resilience in a Pandemic
Social media is a way for us to feel that we are connected to others in a similar situation. People who might find themselves in a minority, groups who maybe in small villages or small towns, suddenly see their identity reflected back to them in te social media discourse they have. That first stage of lockdown, when we all really did feel like we're all in this together, i think was the most vivid sense of how powerful this experience can be.
