Comedy shows us the reality of people, and how far it is from ideal perfection that we might imagine in our perfect universe. And aristophanes ends up showing you how just unnatural and horrifying that is. He has this scene where a young man and a young girl try to get together, and he's dragged off by these two ugly hags who just want to have their way with him. Is essentially a rape scene. The reason why they keep throwing people into the gulag, is because until everybody is a hundred % on board and obedient, it can never work. That means it literally will never work. It's just a self perpetuating cycle of basically killing people, either
