Is There a Virtue Friendship With Robots?
i have an argument for thinking that you can have a virtue friendship with a robot. In order for it to be your friend, there has to be mutual affection. And so the default assumption is that robots can't have these feelings and so they're always false friends. Theyr counterfeit friends, this is a term that's used by other people whoe cand have argued about this. But i'm critical of that idea on epistemic grounds,. Is this idea that robots are just fake or deceptive in some way, is an intrinsic deception to it.
