The Nazzies did this too in World War II to, you know, disgusting effect as well. They took a real village and dressed it up in a way for that that suited their propaganda needs. There's no glass in the windows even like it's as far as Potemkin villages go. It's a half-hearted effort if you ask me. But there was a place called I think it's Fershin Stott.
