Jack Smith tried to turn a bribery law into something broader than it was when he was head of the public integrity section of the criminal division under Eric Holder, under Barack Obama. The same Jack Smith rolls into North Carolina again and signs off on a number of these things. And there is Sean Edwards with his pregnant girlfriend. It's also a slimeball, but nonetheless, his wife has cancer. He puts her up in an apartment, but he doesn't have money to do it himself. So they ask donors, can you please give us some money to do this? And they do.
