The Rise of the Working Class
According to Marx it's necessary to get to communism because there is this series of historical stages. And that internal logic drives them inexorably towards a series of conflicts and transformations. Under capitalism, the working class who are exploited will rise up and have a revolution. They will seize the means of production and the means with which you make with which you create value. But under socialism, things are going to be so so efficient that you're going to get hyperabundanceEventually eventually going to get tocommunism - but only if we don't go back to feudalism in medieval Europe.
