How long should an person in an abuse of household expect to stay in theropy? I mean, it depends on the abuse household, right? So i let's just think about that question for a second. This is what i will say when people come into my office. Within six months to one year, am are doing significantly better. They're not necessarily all the way there, but i've seen good results in a year. The duration of therapy is likely to be related to the extent of psychological damage.
