The Real Estate Crisis in China
Most Chinese folks own real estate, but they don't always own homes. China relied on stimulus around 2015-2016, which was one of the last times you had concerns over real estate prices. By 2017-2018, the Chinese government said, okay, we're stable and we want to rein it back in. We need to have a more productive economy. This whole thing where we're buying and developing properties on credit and everybody, that needs to stop.
