The Importance of Goodie Bags
This episode is relevant to me as a mom with two daughters who are about to have a birthday party. The only person in this exchange who may like a goodie bag or the plastic trigget from the dentist's office is the child. If our children are only getting max five minutes of fun out of the contents of these goodie bags, if we're willing to say that we're going to add to our overwhelming plastic problems by giving a kid a plastic junk toy for five minutes, if we'm okay with that, we need to talk.
